Either be a kid or adult they will always love anything that is related to potato. Urulaikizhangu Podimas – Potato Podimas is a simple side dish which will get along with any rice items and some people will love to have this as a side dish for Dosais too.
Especially, I love this dish and
i do not require anything else if this is available for me. I will have this from Paruppu sadam to Mor Sadam! 🙂
Till today, my love for potato has not changed
even a bit. Moreover, My first cooking experience was trying a crispy potato curry, which we will see later in the recipe section.

- 2 Piece Potatoes Medium sized ( Boiled )
- 1 Piece Green Chilli
- Piece Grated Ginger As Needed
- Coriander Leaves As Needed
- salt As Needed
- Curry Leaves As Needed
- Mustard As Needed
- Bengal Gram As Needed
- Urad Daal As Needed
- Oil
- 1 Tbsp Grated Coconut Optional
- Tsp Lemon Juice

Recipe Notes
- Add lemon Juice at the very end. You should add the lemon juice after taking the dish out from the stove and kept it aside for few minutes. If you add early, you will get sour taste which will not be good.
- Add grated coconut if you like coconut
- kids Love this when added with Bread and given as Bread Sandwich.
- I love to have this as a side dish for almost all the items. I am sure you all will love this..
