Ingredients
  • 3 Potatoes
  • 1.25 spoon salt
  • .25 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 2 Green Chillies Chopped
  • .5 inch Ginger
  • 1 tsp Coriander Leaves
  • 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
For Batter
  • .75 Cup Gram Flour Kadalai Maavu
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp Ghee Melted
  • 3 Pinches Cooking Soda
  • .5 Spoon RedChilli Powder
  • 2 tsp Cashews Broken
  • Oil For Fying

  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp Ghee Melted
  • 3 Pinches Cooking Soda
  • .5 Spoon RedChilli Powder
  • 2 tsp Cashews Broken
  • Oil For Fying
Instructions
  1. Boil potatoes and remove the skin and mash it well with your hands.
  2. In a kadai add oil ,fry the cashews add jeera,green chilies, turmeric and red chili powder and the mashed potatoes.Add salt and mix well.
  3. Switch off and make balls and keep aside.
  4. In a bowl add gram flour salt, red chili powder ,cooking soda and ghee.Add water to this and make a paste of pouring consistency.
  5. Take a kadai add oil and heat in medium flame.Once the oil is heated put 4 0r 5 potato balls in the batter and take it out with a spoon
  6. Drop It carefully in the hot oil and fry until golden brown.
