    Ingredients

    • Left Over rirceMorning left over Kuthiravali rice or normal rice



    • Avarai Poriyal ( Curry )



    • Corriander LeavesAs needed

    Instructions
    1. In a kadai pour little olive oil and half teaspoon ghee and season cinnamon + Elakkai seeds + clove 1, then add Onion cut into small pieces, Ginger cut into small pieces, green chillies split and fry till it becomes soft and brown and then add pudhina coconut thogayal and sauté for few minutes and

    2. add avarai poriyal and fry for a minute and then add rice and little salt and mix everything nicely garnish with kothamalli leaves

    3. Add spring onion leaves and close tightly and keep the flame in sim mode for 5 minutes.

    4. Serve hot with sutta appalam and tomato sauce.

    Recipe Notes
    • we can add fried cashew or ground nut fried ones as value addition.
    • Should not tell the family members that it is made from morning left overs. 🙂
    • While serving take little more care to garnish.
