Moar Kootu
A very popular Tambrahm (Tamil Brahmin) recipe Moar kootu. It can be easily prepared and goes well with vatha kozhambu, thogayal or any mixed rice or with almost all tiffin items.

    Ingredients

    • 2tsp


      mustard

    • 1tbsp


      coconut oil

    • 1cup


      Grated coconut

    • 4Piece


      Green Chilly

    • 2


      Chowchow

    • 3


      Carrot

    • 2


      Potato

    • 1small cup


      Peas



    • Curry leavesAs needed



    • saltAs needed

    • 1cup

    Instructions
    1. Pressure cook the vegetable for 1 whistle

    2. Grind Coconut and Chilli as a Paste

    3. Once the Vegetable is cooked, add salt and the coconut-chilly paste to the same.

    4. Keep it in flame for 5 minutes

    5. Add the seasoning (Sauted mustard)

    6. Switch off and add Coconut oil , curry leaves

    7. After 10-15 minutes of cooling period add the curd and mix well

    8. Moar Kootu is Ready!
