A new variety of pickle, which can be used as a side dish for Curd rice , Paruppu or Thogayal Mix.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup Orange Skin Finely chopped
  • 1 1 Tamarind Soaked inWater
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp RedChilli Powder
  • 1 tsp Jaggery
  • 2 tsp Oil
  • 0.5 tsp Mustard Seeds
  • 2 pinches Asafoetida

  • 1 cup Orange Skin Finely chopped
  • 1 1 Tamarind Soaked inWater
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp RedChilli Powder
  • 1 tsp Jaggery
  • 2 tsp Oil
  • 0.5 tsp Mustard Seeds
  • 2 pinches Asafoetida
Instructions
  1. Take a kadai heat oil,add mustard and asafetida.
  2. When it pops add finely chopped orange skin and fry.
  3. Add tamarind pulp to this and then salt and red chili powder and mix well.
  4. Cook till the orange skin becomes soft
  5. Finally add the jaggery and stir well.
