Generally Mor Kali are gluey in nature and sour to taste but a delicious one though!

Lets move to this traditional Tambrahhm breakfast or tiffin variety which is ultra quick to make.

  • 4 Cups Buttermilk
  • 2 Cup Boiled rice
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 4 Piece Green Chilli
Seasoning
  • 5 tbsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Mustard
  • 1 tsp Bengal Gram
  • 1 tsp Urad Daal
  • Curry Leaves As Needed
  • 4 Pieces Mor Milagai
  • Asafoetida As Needed

Instructions
  1. Soak rice in water for an hour.

    Drain the water Add Green chilly, Buttermilk with rice and grind.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and crackle mustard seeds,add urad dal, Bengal Gram, Mor Milagai, Curry leaves and asafoetida.

    Fry till the color changes..
  3. keep the flame in low and add the prepared rice+buttermilk mixture stirring continuously. <

  4. The mix should look like the below image with no change in colour and consistency
  5. Take a Glass / silver Tray and grease it with oil to maintain the stickiness.

    Pour the cooked food over the greasy tray and make it flat

  6. Cool it down for 7-8 minutes and cut into pieces.

  7. Serve the Warm Mor Kali / Mor Kuzu
